Same-Day Smiles
Teeth in a Day: Temporary Teeth, Healing, and Your Final Arch
“Teeth in a Day” describes the possibility of attaching fixed temporary teeth on implant-surgery day. It does not mean the entire treatment is finished in one visit. FiXedNewTeeth is Trinity Dental Arts’ All-on-X brand, and your examination determines whether same-day temporary teeth are appropriate.
How Same-Day Implants Work
Signature Consultation & Imaging
A 90-minute in-office clinical visit with CBCT imaging, full X-rays, an intraoral scan, and a written treatment plan. $300 prepaid, credited toward treatment begun within 30 days.
Surgery & Temporary Teeth
Eligible patients may receive fixed temporary teeth on surgery day when implant stability and other clinical conditions allow. Healing, final teeth, and professional maintenance are separate stages.
Healing & Follow-Up
Implant healing takes time. Follow your individual diet, hygiene, and activity instructions while the team monitors the implants and any temporary restoration.
Final Teeth & Maintenance
After clinical review, your final arch is fitted and your bite checked. Daily cleaning, professional review, and possible future repair remain part of care.
What Makes Same-Day Implants Possible?
Immediate loading means attaching a restoration before implants have completed healing in the bone. Suitability depends on clinical findings, including implant stability, bone support, health, and the planned bite. Temporary teeth do not authorize unrestricted eating. Final teeth are considered after clinical review.
Are You a Candidate for Teeth in a Day?
- Missing most or all teeth in one or both arches
- Wearing uncomfortable or ill-fitting dentures
- Have sufficient jawbone density (or are eligible for bone grafting)
- Non-smokers or willing to quit before surgery
- No uncontrolled systemic conditions such as unmanaged diabetes
- Committed to post-surgical care and follow-up appointments
Not every patient is suitable for same-day fixed teeth. Dr. Gjelaj discusses a staged approach or another interim option when necessary. Ask what you will wear during healing and how the plan could change at surgery; a fixed bridge within a few days is not guaranteed.
Same-Day Implants vs All-on-4® vs All-on-6
All-on-4 and All-on-6 describe full-arch approaches using four or six implants. All-on-X allows the number and arrangement to be selected for the clinical situation. Neither the count nor the name guarantees immediate loading, avoids grafting in every case, or establishes a lifespan.
